Flamenco at El Farol

Escape for an evening of flamenco with traditional Spanish tapas and wine in a romantic garden setting.  This summer, at Santa Fe's El Farol on historic Canyon Road, witness up close the intimate connection between flamenco dancer, singer and guitarist.  Featuring Yjastros, the American Flamenco Repertory Company.  Tickets are $25.

Burning of Zozobra

The annual torching of 50-foot-tall Old Man Gloom, a puppet stuffed with thousands of scraps of paper bearing the citizenry's sad thoughts, is a highlight of Fiesta time. There will be an expanded Rail Runner schedule for the event. Exit the train at the Santa Fe Depot. Return south by taking a free shuttle to the South Capitol Station, where you can catch the train for your return trip (the Santa Fe Depot will be closed after 9 p.m.). Learn More >>

Expanded Train Service for Labor Day Weekend

From Saturday, August 30 to Monday, September 1, Labor Day Weekend, there will be expanded New Mexico Rail Runner Express train service. 
There will be no Rio Metro bus service on these dates.

New Mexico's oldest wine festival offers wine tastings from several of New Mexico's wineries plus live entertainment, food, high-quality arts and crafts in Bernalillo, just north of Albuquerque. The New Mexico Wine Festival at Bernalillo wraps up the summer with the premier wine festival of the southwest! Take the train and exit at the Sandoval / US 550 station.
