It's time for Zoo Boo! The ABQ Biopark Zoo is celebrating 26 years of safe Halloween fun this year with games, haunted habitats, costumes and, of course, candy! Trick-or-treat from dozens of sponsoring businesses and civic organizations at tables throughout the Zoo. October 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Exit the train at the Downtown Albuquerque station and board ABQ Ride Route 53 to the Zoo.

Day of the Tread
Grab your bicycles or lace up your shoes and join Casa Esperanza for the 8th Annual Day of the Tread. Day of the Tread is a family oriented, Halloween themed, bike ride or fun walk/run with over 10 exciting courses to choose from, including kid friendly distances. Whichever path you choose, you will enjoy live entertainment, music, crazy contests, and costumes. Plus, you can feel good knowing your participation helps support the families served by Casa Esparanza and over 20 other local non-profits. Going for the post event festivities? Exit the train at Downtown ABQ and walk or ride to 3rd and Tijeras.

Hinkle Fall Festival
The 15th Annual Hinkle Family Fun Center's Fall Festival is an event not to be missed! Trick or Treat on Hinkle's miniatue golf course, where more than 36 participating sponsors will have booths and goodies. Make sure to look for the Rail Runner booth and meet Trax, the Rail Runner mascot.

First Annual People's Festival
The first annual People's Festival Matanza, Chile and Salsa competition is a weekend of competition, entertainment, traditions and family fun. There is something for everyone to enjoy from the arm wrestling tournament, the 5K run & walk, browsing through the Artisans climate controlled tents or simply enjoying the entertainment on two stages. There will be special shuttles from the Los Ranchos/Journal Center station to this event.
