Rail Safety Week Event

Rail Safety info booth and free train safety cartoon for kids.

Rail Safety Week is September 18-24, 2023. 

To spread the word about Rail Safety, Rio Metro and the New Mexico Rail Runner Express will be joining the Santa Fe Railyard Community Corporation and Sky Railway for an information booth and activities on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Schedule of Events:

  • 9AM - 1:30PM: Information Booth at the Santa Fe Artists Market - Meet Pablito (Sky Railway Mascot) and Trax (Rail Runner Mascot), and pick up some free goodies!
  • 11AM - 1PM: Stop by Violet Crown Cinema for a train safety cartoon for kids and free popcorn!
