Rio Metro Developing Micromobility Plan

Rio Metro Regional Transit District is evaluating how micromobility services, such as bikeshare, are adapting to national industry trends. The organization is developing a business plan to identify potential opportunities for micromobility service in Greater Albuquerque.

Micromobility refers to a range of shared devises like e-scooters, dockless bikes, and traditional bikeshare such as the former PaceABQ program. These types of transportation options make transit connections easier and contribute to the reduction of traffic and congestion along busy routes.
