Calculating Your Fare
The New Mexico Rail Runner Express operates on a zone-based fare structure. The amount passengers pay for a ticket is determined by the distance traveled. There are six zones along the 100-mile corridor between Santa Fe and the City of Belen. See the chart below for details.

Purchase Your Ticket
Tickets can be purchased on our app, online or onboard the train. If using a credit card for payment, passengers must show a valid photo I.D. Cash, debit cards, and all major credit cards (except American Express) are accepted.
