A Winter Walking Tour of Santa Fe

Traveling by train can open the door to new ways of exploring familiar places. In December 2025, members of the Happy Hoofers and Trekkers hiking group took the Rail Runner to Santa Fe for one of their regularly scheduled walks. Combining rail travel, local transit, and plenty of time on foot, the group enjoyed a thoughtfully guided journey through the city’s art, architecture, and history.
